불고기, Bulgogi (Korean Sliced and seasoned beef )



Today I plan to cook Bolgogi which is favored not only
 by Koreans but also a lot of foreigners.

Bulgogi literally means "fire meat",
 it is made from beef marinated in soy sauce and tastes fantastic.
 In restaurants it is often barbecued on a grill at your table,
 and is one of Korea's most famous dishes.


1.Prepare meat 1kg (Sirloin, Tenderloin, or Round)

2.gride an onion and half of a pear together and then put them in a bowl,
it magically makes meats much more tender.

3.mix bulgogi condiment and variety of ingredients in beef.

Soy sauce 5 Tsp, Oyster sauce 4 Tsp,  chopped garlic 2 Tsp, 
 oligosaccharides (or Sugar) 1 Tsp, Sesame oil 1Tsp 

4.Put the marinated meat into the glass bowl,and keep it for a day


Put the prepared vegies to the meat that well ripened
 in seasonings and then fry them well.

I am not good on cutting. Ha-Ha :)  So,vegetables are sliced too thick. 
It is better to make thin slice for hard vegetables like carrot. 


Bulgogi is Traditionally grilled, but pan-cooking is common as well. 
Whole cloves of garlic, sliced onions and 
chopped green peppers are often grilled or fried with the meat. 

This dish is sometimes served with a side of lettuce or 
other leafy vegetable, which is used to wrap a slice of cooked meat, 
often along with a dab of ssamjang, or other side dishes,
 and then eaten as a whole.
