Its a market with various stalls along the road side selling
various types of foods (Malay, Indian and chinese).
The Ramadan bazaar only available during the fasting period for Muslim,
a month before their Raya (Malay new year).
Banana pickle
Ayam goreng pedas
Malay style fried chicken , little spicy,
marinate with the Malay recipe
Cendol drinks
Cendol represent green color jelly.
It normally served with coconut milk
and gula Malacca (brown sugar syrup).
Some of them prefer to add a Rose flavor too (the red color syrup).
The Market can be found weekly at specific location
like TTDI, Kampung Baru and etc.
Normally, during the Ramadan, it will be more happening as
the local family will join the crowd and sell
their famous homecook dish or cookies.
I found the Malay style cooking is very colorful
but all are tasty and safe to consume.
For instance, the Nasi Kerabu - A blue color rice served with coconut floss
and spice is cook using the natural leaves that produce blue juice.
The Malay likes colorful foods and drinks so it look appetising.
